Budding

Sweet little cactus flowers. I'd pinch thier cheeks but don't wanna get pricked.

Nectarine tree awaking from winter slumber. This tree produces the juiciest most delicious fruit. Summertime.

Garden guardian. He maintains harmony in amongst the flora.

Heading Home

Sitting in a hearthy good restaurant/bar/book gallery while I waited for the driver to swoop on by and herald me off to the airport. Light rain falling outside. Belly warming scotch resting in my belly making the flight home all the more tolerable.

Cute hu.

Inside Hotel Alexis. Bombastically cool boutique hotel. LOVED IT.

Oh Hell YES!!

May 19th, its a dropping! Heee heeee.

Lord Tennis-on.

Something about hitting the everloving crap out of a small yellow fuzzy ball makes me feel fantastic. Elated to the moon really. Round these parts the BNP Paribas tennis tournament commenced this week. I went on Monday to watch the qualifying rounds and to watch top players practice. The ferocious velocity with which the pros smash the ball is wacky.

Super accurate, super duper speedy, insane fitness and ripped all to hell.

Jelena Jankovic. All the boys were drooling. She is pretty tall and pretty pritty.

Gettin served.

Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Gorgeous.

Chilean player.

Chili?

Mauresmo...see her face? She is a BAD ASS!

Shirtless wonder.

I am surprised the rackets don't snap.

All shirtless, everywhere I looked.

Great match. This girl put up gnarly fight.

This one was LOUD!

Blue.

Not sure about those black socks.

Traispsin and Observin'

Writing assignment took me to Balboa Park in San Diego yesterday. Balboa Park is such a special whimsical park with tons of nooks and crannies hiding little gifts. When I lived in San Diego I used to go and plop under a tree with my notebook and write and people watch for hours.
Yesterday was a most beautiful day draped in refreshing ocean breezes and glittering sunshine.

This homeless man looked so peaceful. He snuggled up under a tree; I am certain the lulleby birdsongs sailed him into a warm slumber.

Arbortoreum.

Starburst.

Prickly tree hug.
